On October 17th, 2020, the first SMT electronics equipment project was inaugurated. This will be the first SMT high-tech electronics equipment research, production and assembly project in Da Nang City being a realization of "Resolution 43 of the Politburo" about "Building and developing Da Nang city to 2030, vision to 2045".

Recently, the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Project for Researching, Manufacturing, and Assembling High-Tech Electronic Equipment marks the first major milestone in Da Nang’s IT sector development. Later, Phase 2 will begin building shortly after the Da Nang People’s Committee hands over the land to the investor.
