Swiss enterprises and Credit Suisse Bank explore the investment environment in Da Nang
DNO – On November 10, a delegation of 35 Swiss businesses survey, learn about the investment environment and conduct field surveys at Da Nang Hi-Tech Park together with Credit Suisse Bank and the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam – Da Nang Branch (AmCham Da Nang) at the headquarters of the Management Board of Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Parks.
Mr. Tran Van Ty, Deputy Head of the Management Board of Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Parks, introduced investment information, especially attractive incentive policies when investing in Da Nang Hi-Tech Park, Da Nang Centralized Information Technology Park (Danang IT Park) and Da Nang industrial parks. The management board is committed to creating the best support conditions for investors to learn and implement projects here.
The Hi-Tech Park has an area of over 1,128 hectares, the Information Technology Park – phase 1 has an area of 131 hectares and 6 existing industrial parks with a total area of 1,066 hectares are in operation and 4 new industrial parks are in the process of investment with a total area of 939.16 ha. Priority investment sectors and trades to be attracted to the above zones include high-tech industry, information technology, supporting industries, projects with modern, advanced and environmentally friendly technologies, effectively use natural resources, minerals and land, facilitate and strengthen linkages with domestic and foreign enterprises. Currently, there is 1 Swiss project in Danang IT Park.
According to Dr. Urs Buchmann, Vice President of Credit Suisse Bank, the delegation was delighted to visit and learn about the investment environment in Da Nang and realize that the city’s Hi-Tech Park and industrial parks are attracting many foreign businesses come to invest.
There are many enterprises specializing in high-tech industries in the delegation, so they are very eager to learn about the procedures related to the tax system and legal procedures as well as necessary issues to support new investment businesses.
