Investing $100 Million Data Center in Da Nang by Infracrowd Capital
Recently, Da Nang continues to strengthen its position as a rising tech hub in Southeast Asia. On November 23rd, 2021, Infracrowd Capital, a Singapore-based infrastructure investor, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Da Nang IT Park Development JSC, a subsidiary of Trung Nam Group. This partnership aims to develop a Tier 3 Plus data center in Da Nang with a total investment of US$100 million.
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Anh Huy, Director of IT Park Development Joint Stock Company had a speech: “It can be said that this is a very meaningful project for Danang IT Park, and we also think that Infracrowd also have their own reasons when deciding to cooperate with Danang IT Park, a partner in Vietnam, an ideal destination to invest in developing Data Center.”

At first, located within the DITP, the new data center will play a vital role in the city’s goal of becoming a central IT and innovation hub in Vietnam. In fact, the project meets international standards of design and build. It will offer services such as cloud computing, server hosting, and IT infrastructure solutions.
Secondly, this data center investment in Da Nang supports the broader digital transformation goals set by the Vietnamese government. Furthermore, it also contributes to smart city development efforts, particularly in artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR), and advanced data processing.

The Da Nang IT Park has two phases of building, covering 341 hectares. With its vision of becoming the “Silicon Valley of Central Vietnam,” it has already attracted strong public and private interest. Beside that, This data center helps enhance the digital infrastructure not only for the city but also for the entire ASEAN region.
Additionally, Trung Nam EMS and Xelex Technology have committed to producing 100,000 tablets to support online education, contributing to Vietnam’s digital inclusion through the national “Internet and Computers for Students” program.
